Hey, I'm Elizabeth. But when I'm a wolf, it's Moony. Got it? Great, let's get started! So, we're in Wolfhaven. Right there, the white star:
Wolfhaven belongs to us, the werewolves. But, we have to keep it secret. I know you're new and it's not easy to not just blurt out your problems at some random stranger. There are three packs, count 'em, three:
I'm the Alphess of Ealaot-Wadass. We live in the north. Now, Mount Aurora, which is where we are, is in the center of Wolfhaven. North: Ealaot-Wadass. South: the civilized part of Wolfhaven where we all live as humans. East: Hok'ee, lead by Ghost, the Alpha. West: He-Lush-Ka; they'll kill any uninvited guests so be careful. How you holding up, good? Alrighty, next lesson. Each pack has an Alpha pair. But an Alpha can still be Alpha without a mate; like me. Then there is the Beta pair. The right-hand wolves and next in line for the Alpha position. Deltas are...the left-hand wolves? Something like that, they make sure the nobody within the pack plans on challenging the Alphas. There are four Healers and each one must train an apprentice before death. They heal illnesses and wounds and are the connection between the Spirits and ourselves. The hunters make sure the pack is well-fed. As their name states they hunt for us, but really any rank can go hunt if they wish. Warriors are the soldiers at the forefront of battle. If they can't handle it, we call in all of our available members to fight. Scouts patrol and mark the territory. They keep intruders out and take any wolf wishing to join to the Alphas. Pups are pups, simple as that. Omegas are the lowest rank, but by far the most important. They keep the peace within the pack and make sure no fights break out. One lucky Omega goes with the Scouts on patrols to keep from starting fights.
Ok, so that's about it on packs. What do you want to learn next? Ah, the Spirits. Well, it's like...hm...I guess you could say that they're our Gods and Godesses. Our ancestors. There's Canis Lupus the God of Gods. He started it all. Then, there is his wife Aurora Borealis. You can see her dancing in the sky at- oh! There she is now! Beautiful isn't she? Yes, yes she's quite the looker, now focus. They have many children. There is Lunam, to start with. Their eldest daughter, twin of Solis. They are the moon and sun. Then there is Aqua, Terram, Ignis, and Aeris. The elements: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. Then came Bonum and Malum. Good and Evil. They were the last born.
That's all I know about the Spirits. If you really need more, then you'd have to ask a Healer. What now? Ohh, werewolves in general. Alright, get comfy. This is a long story. Got any gum?
It all started with a man. A mad man who did all kinds of illegal things. DNA tests and all that. The flashing lights and bright colors told other people to stay away or else. Well...he ran out of..subjects and went out to scrape up some poor stray dog or something. But he found a boy. He was fourteen years old. He took the orphan boy home and lied. He said it was going to be alright. Pfft! Anyway, he put him under an induced coma. I dunno how those work, don't ask. So, he removed certain strands of his DNA and compromised them out of strands of fused human and wolf DNA. When he woke up, he was pissed. He lashed out in anger and fear, coming into his first tranformation. In the morning, the lab was ravaged and the boy gone. The scientist was a werewolf now. But, the boy escaped and his name was Jaques Bertrand. He grew up, got married, and changed his wife, Marie, on her request. They had two kids, Dana and Kenneth. Kenneth kept himself secret, even from his wife Felicity. They had four kids...Elizabeth, Marcus, Joshua, and Andrew.
No, I'm not named after Elizabeth, I am Elizabeth. I'm not done, we're really complicated! We have all the advatages and disadvantages of humans and wolves. Which means if we get rabies, we don't die in a few days, we live on for weeks just biting people like wild animals do. Yes, we get THAT too! So...yeah, anything you think we got we probably do. I think that's it! So, don't be afraid to ask questions, most of us have had your experiance before, being new. I'll see ya around! Oh, here's a cruddy map if you loose your way. Real basic but it works. Yeah, I know it sucks, I'll have Eagleflight draw me a new one. Good luck, you'll need it!!
