She walked along the mountain base in Ealaot-Wadass territory in her human form; the sun was just setting. It was only three weeks ago that she had moved into the town and bought an abandoned house that was far from the humans. Sighing she looked around before stopping and falling back in the grass. She let the last rays of sunlight shine on her face before it disappeared. Nina let her senses take over and she could feel her body warming up and she started to toss over on the grass. As the pain started to grow she closed her eyes releasing a growl as her face started to jut out.
Now she layed still as the rest of her body changed and finally stopped burning. Sighing she sat up and looked around breathing in calmly. The known female was not Nina she was known as Starnight in this form. Her ear twitched as she heard movement about two miles away. Starnight moved to stand on all fours and took off into the foliage. Her eyes took in everything moving around her and she soon slowed scenting a herd of deer.
Pushing herself upward on two legs she looked spotting a doe and two fawns. Her ears forward and alert she moved silently toward them. She stopped coming only a couple yards from them and went back to all fours. Starnight watched as one of the fawns came to close jumped. Her teeth pierced its neck and she saw the doe and other fawn take off. Sinking her claws into the little fawn she heard it give out a horrified cry for help and she gave her head a quick jerk to end its life.

The ginger-and-white she-wolf walked through her home territory. She was the lead huntress of Ealaot-Wadass and today felt like fullfilling her duties to the pack. She scented the air and could smell a doe, two fawns and a human. She got low to the ground, ignoring the other scents and focusing on a fawn. Her beliefs were that if there is a mother and child, you leave. A mother and two children had one to spare. So, she nocked an arrow to her bow and aimed at the closest fawn, watching the other dance in another direction.
Her hunt abrubtly ended when her chosen target bolted, only a doe and one fawn. She couldn't hunt this one anymore. Her mind lingered on the failed hunt shortly before it tuned in to the reason why. She spotted a black female of her kind and revealed herself. The ginger-brown hair on her neck and back stood straight up and her lips curled back in a snarl. "Who are you, and what are you doing in my pack's territory?" she growled. This wolf was not of Ealaot-Wadass and had just ruined her hunt. This newcomer was not on the lead huntress's good side.

Starnight let the fawn drop from her jaws and she watched the doe and other fawn run off. She was lucky to have caught food this time because she wasn't much of a hunter in this form. Breathing out heavily she licked her lips and then smelled another female and pricked her ears hearing "Who are you, and what are you doing in my pack's territory?" She turned her head seeing a ginger-brown female glaring at her.
Her face had no expression on it but she stood tensed sniffing to see if there was anyone else. A fight was not the best thing to do at the moment since she was still getting settled her new home. "I'm sure you can spare a meal for a loner like me. I don't mean any harm to you or your precious pack" she said back in defense her ears now going slightly back. Her brown eyes watched the female carefully.

The ginger-brown she-wolf glared at her quarry. "Alright. As long as you don't interfere too much, I guess we could spare a deer or two. I'm Eagleflight," now turning to her friendly side, she held out her paw for the other to shake. She let her precious bow softly drop on the ground. It was made by her grandfather, her idol and she cherished it with her life. If she had to save herself or her bow, she'd sacrifice herself.
It was now Eagle wondered what her Alphess, Moony, would do. Moony probably wouldn't have been so eager to accept. Being Alphess she couldn't afford mistakes. But then neither could Eagleflight. She was the lead huntress, the sustainance of her pack rested on her shoulders. Every wolf has their own responsibilites in a pack. It seemed sort of strange to her that anyone would perfer to be alone with no responsibilites besides eat, sleep, and relieve thyself. A loner's life was not her own, nor would it ever be.

She heard the other she-wolf say "Alright. As long as you don't interfere too much, I guess we could spare a deer or two. I'm Eagleflight," and saw her hold out her hand. Looking at her for a moment she nodded holding out her and shook Eagleflight's saying "Starnight" and relaxed her body now. Her eyes going down to the fawn she said "Would you like some Eagleflight?" Starnight was willingly to share her catch.
She was in pack territory so it only made sense for her to ask Eagleflight. Star then crouched down and went to her knees as if sitting. Her eyes had caught the sight of Eagle's bow and she said curiously "Did you make that?"

Eagleflight kneeled down along with Starnight. "Sure," she said when the black she-wolf spoke of the prey. She then gained a sparkle to her eye at the mention of her bow, subconciously stroking it. "No, my grandfather did. He made a lot of my things...including me. I get my werewolf gene from him. He died just last winter; I love this bow with my life because he made it as a gift as if to say sorry for leaving. At least that's what my dad said..."
Eagle took out her knife from it's sheath and severed her perfered chunk; the hindquarters. However, she didn't eat until Starnight did, a common honor seeing as she had caught it and not Eagle.
